Masala prawn Rice

 

Rice cooked in spicy green masala and coconut milk with prawns..

STEP BY STEP PICTORIAL

The ingredients required for the green masala is pureed to smooth paste
Marinate the prawns with green masala ,yoghurt,redchilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder (forgot to take picture of this portion)
In a pan add ghee , whole spices, onions, tomato and prepared masala paste.
Then add marinated prawns , coconut milk and rice then cook till done

Instructions
  1. Grind together coriander leaves , pudina,fennel seeds , ginger garlic, greenchilli, redchilli.,cardomom, cinamon to a smooth paste
  2. Marinate the prawns with half of the green masala , yoghurt , redchilli powder , turmeric powder , coriander powder for 30 minutes
  3. In a pan add ghee , cinamon , clove, sliced onions and tomato cook till mushy
  4. Then add the marinated prawns and remaining ground masala.
  5. Then add coconut milk , soaked rice , salt and cook till done.
